Prothane Industrial has been in existence since July 1990, first as a Pty Limited company and then in 1999 changed to a Close Corporation.

Prothane Industrial commenced with castable Polyurethane products, expanding later to high tech polyurethane spraying products, rubberlining and various other wear and corrosive protection elements manufactured from polymers, with particular reference to our Intellectual Property, Polycombo®, which is protected with a legally registered trademark.

Prothane Industrial initially served the Klerksdorp, Goldfields Area and subsequently expanded to cover the local mining areas of Carletonville, Free State, Rustenburg and internationally Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique and most recently Saudi Arabia.
